Until now, switching perspectives mid-episode had been impossible. I hope this experiment brings out some meaningful effect. I simply began running toward the seventh floor. Traveling by running to the target floor was standard behavior for our party.
So, it should have been as usual. Yet, there was not a single shadow of a monster along our path, and our progress was so smooth that my carefully planned schedule threatened to collapse entirely. I had to lengthen our break time somehow, or we would finish within half a day. I wanted to cry at my own poor planning.
I had based my schedule on our usual exploration pace, yet why, of all days, were there explorers stationed along every path, leaving not a single monster behind us?
I raised a hand and greeted the explorers we passed as a matter of courtesy before running past them.

A royal road had been laid before Kouta as he entered the dungeon and began to run. I wanted to praise myself for being able to keep up with him without overexertion. The explorers who had learned that the Dungeon Philharmony, or rather Kouta himself, would be passing through at this hour and along this route must have cleared the way in silent encouragement.
Along the shortest route to the next floor, there were many explorers, and we passed them without a scratch. This was divine possession. This was charisma. This was Fujikawa Kouta. I could no longer conceal my awe.
To the eyes of those who gazed upon him with expectation, hope, and admiration, he raised his hand slightly in acknowledgment. That gesture alone dazzled me to the point of blindness. Everyone must have sensed that today’s exploration would shock the entire world, which was why they were lending their cooperation.
In a world of explorers where everything is one’s own responsibility, I knew of no one else who could be so admired, assisted, and respected by so many. This, too, must be the result of Kouta’s willingness to share without reserve the knowledge he had worked so hard to acquire. I desperately held back the tears threatening to overflow and bowed in return to those who offered their support.
Along the way, I saw German soldiers. From their equipment and familiar faces, there could be no mistake. The Dutch soldiers, though positioned farther away, were also there in support. Their salutes carried pure respect, free from the slightest trace of national boundaries. At the stairways connecting each floor, members of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces stood guard over the relay devices and saluted us as we passed.
Here, there were no borders, no racial divides, and not even a barrier of language. Everyone challenged the dungeon, knew its dangers, resisted them, and continued to strive toward the unknown heights that even Muze, a monster, could not imagine. We were comrades in that struggle.
This was no longer a national enterprise. It was a global endeavor led by the world’s explorers who dared to challenge the dungeon itself.
