The fal of their great empire should’ve already been the wake up call to reform their socio-political system and yet those in power will do anything to remain in power even at the cost of the continuation of their own people. Kinda similar to our current situation, everyone who has functioning neurons knows that climate change is the biggest threat to the human species. But those in power are basically doing nothing and perpetuate and maintain the status quo of marching towards our extinction. Our current generation is a significant turning point to addressing that problen with a simple question, socialism or barbarism?
