This page here is to explain the method of translation used.

To be honest, the translation method has changed from what I’ve been doing 8 years ago. Previously, I’m translating manually sentence by sentence. It wasn’t perfect obviously. English is my second language and I have only 1 year of experience in learning Japanese back in 2003.

Now, I have changed my method of translation. Again, it’s not perfect of course. I’m using ChatGPT to translate and then compare it to Google Translate. I will read both translation together and if it doesn’t make sense or if there is discrepancy, I will do manual translation, word by word, by using jisho.org. Next, I will proofread it myself (I can’t afford to pay editor or proofreader). I will ensure all names and terms to be similar in all chapters. However, there are probably some changes in World Teacher and Ex Strongest novels because I left the translation for two years. So, please ignore any discrepancies there.

As for new novels, I’ve created a list of characters and terms used for new novels. You may refer it on the main tab and under the subsection of each novel (except the first three novels).

Any edited maps of the novels is edited by me and no one else. It’s interesting to edit it myself, but of course, it affects the time of translation. The more complicated the maps, the longer time needed to edit it. I have to snip each words and use (multiple) OCR free online website to get the words. In addition, I have to ensure that the characters (kanji) is correct. OCR isn’t perfect anyway.

Feel free to comment on the quality of the translation, but unfortunately, I can’t improve much on the quality. My priorities are to make sure the translation is readable without changing much from the original writings and to follow my own release schedule.
