New chapter of Plant Magic Lord is out! (1/2 chapters)
Cockatonia House
(Thank you for reading at bayabuscotranslation.com)
It was a splendid dollhouse.
It was a model of a wooden house known as the Large Tree House. It even had a proper door. The entire structure had been coated with a protective solution, ensuring that no wooden fragments would peel off when touched.
Each leaf had been carefully crafted and attached by hand.
“It is so small and adorable.” (Audrey)
There was also a plush toy of a cockatrice placed inside. This plush had been specially resized to fit perfectly within the Cockatonia House.
“It is smaller than the one I have at home, but it fits this house perfectly.” (Clarissa)
“That is true. It suits it very well.” (Audrey)
Even so, one could sense the effort that went into adjusting the scale of the plush. Judging by the house’s size, the cockatrice would otherwise have appeared more than twice as large as it should be.
“Piyo. The house feels really nice, piyo.” (Dia)
Dia fetched the model of the Large Tree House from the materials storage.
“This one is safe to touch, piyo. Please go ahead, piyo.” (Dia)
“You may hold it in your hands and experience the texture for yourself. That was the explanation, if I recall correctly.” (Marcosias)
Marcosias recited the instructions he had memorized.
When the main art festival began, there would be many visitors, and such explanations would be an important part of their duties.
“Then, may I borrow it for a moment?” (Audrey)
“Please do, piyo.” (Dia)
Audrey crouched down and received the model of the Large Tree House from Dia.
“How does it feel?” (Clarissa)
“It is very well made.” (Audrey)
Wooden toys were common, typically featuring animals, plants, or monsters as their motifs.
This model, however, had been created not merely for decoration but also to help children gain a three-dimensional understanding that could not be achieved through drawings alone.
“Clarissa, you should try holding it too.” (Audrey)
“Thank you. I see, so this is how it feels.” (Clarissa)
Audrey handed the house model to Clarissa.
“Piyo. There is also a plush toy, piyo.” (Dia)
“May I touch that one as well?” (Clarissa)
“It is a trial sample, piyo.” (Dia)
Audrey, who loved cockatrice plush toys, cheerfully accepted it.
The soft, springy texture between her fingers made her certain in an instant. This was undoubtedly a high-grade item crafted by Zanzas.
“Speaking of which, there was another piece belonging to this corner.” (Marcosias)
Marcosias rummaged through the materials and retrieved an additional part.
“Oh, that one, yes.” (Stella)
“It was indeed part of the set.” (Nana)
Both Stella and Nana gazed at it with distant expressions.
“Tadaa.” (Marcosias)
What Marcosias revealed was a model consisting of a Dryad’s head and a mound of earth. The tiny Dryad head rested atop a wooden base painted the color of soil. It was a model depicting a Dryad enjoying an earthen bath.
“Wow. Wait, what is this?” (Audrey)
“Th-this is…” (Clarissa)
Audrey initially expressed delight but soon tilted her head in confusion, just as Clarissa did.
“There is also this one, piyo. Piyo… piyo…” (Dia)
Dia brought out another piece from the materials storage, the very last one remaining.
“Oh, there is another version.” (Audrey)
“That is a relief.” (Clarissa)
It was an adorable plush of a Dryad standing normally. Without both of these plushes, the one in the ground would simply appear buried, so Leia had hastily made the second one to complete the set. Dia and Marcosias carefully placed the new pieces onto the base of the Cockatonia House.
“About here, piyo.” (Dia)
“Waf. It makes Healberry Village feel even more authentic.” (Marcosias)
“It really does, piyo.” (Dia)
Audrey and Clarissa nodded together as they observed the final piece being added.
“Yes, that looks perfect. It truly captures the feel of that village.” (Audrey)
“It is fluffy and adorable.” (Clarissa)
The Dryads had tiny flowers placed upon their heads, making them delightfully charming. That attention to detail had not been neglected.
“Oh, I want one of these.” (Audrey)
“Yes, I do as well.” (Clarissa)
They turned the Large Tree House over in their hands, gently squeezed the cockatrice plush, and examined every corner with fascination.
“This is also part of Leia’s work, so I believe it will be released for sale soon.” (Stella)
“Really? That is wonderful.” (Audrey)
“I would also like one of the Noball uniforms.” (Clarissa)
In response to Clarissa’s words, Stella replied.
“At the moment, only adult sizes are available, but children’s sizes will be produced soon. We must prepare designs suitable for every race and age group.” (Stella)
Stella spoke with a bright smile.
For the Nyaff Tribe, adjustments would be needed for the ears and tails. For Dwarves and Moles, height proportions had to be considered. Nevertheless, Stella was confident that she could overcome all such challenges. Zanzas was quite skilled in matters of clothing, including costume production.
“In that case, I would love to have one as well.” (Clarissa)
As Clarissa looked up eagerly, Stella nodded in agreement.
“I am glad to see that the appeal of Noball is spreading.” (Stella)
“Yes.” (Clarissa)
And thus, the exhibition of Healberry Village came to an end.
Even the discerning members of the Hold family seemed pleased, much to Stella’s relief.
“Well then, all that remains is the main event.” (Stella)
Stella straightened her posture and renewed her determination.
Marcosias and Nana followed her lead.
“This is the crucial part. We must convey the key points clearly and express the appeal well.” (Nana)
“We will do our best.” (Marcosias)
Dia jumped up energetically.
“We will do our best, piyo.” (Dia)
