Chapter 130

“Good morning!” (Muze)

Muze bowed politely. The place was my room.

“It is now seven o’clock in the morning! From this moment, I shall begin to set Master’s hair!” (Muze)

Muze held up the alarm clock to show the time. Naturally, it was the clock I always used.

“As you can see, Master is still asleep! Therefore, the very first task is to wake him up!” (Muze)

Without warning, Muze stepped back from the camera, took a running start, and launched a flying body attack toward me.

“Awake yourself!!” (Muze)

“…Mmm? Nnh… Muze, good morning. You are energetic again today.” (Kouta)

Up until this moment, the footage had been scenes I had no memory of being filmed. The scene then changed. Muze appeared before the mirror, positioned so that both the front and the back were visible.

“Yes! Once Master with his disheveled head is brought to stand before the mirror, the true performance begins!” (Muze)

Yes, from here onward, Muze and I had adjusted the angles and spoken together to record. With her small body, Muze briskly and efficiently arranged my hair. Occasionally she cried out “Oorya!” or “Urya!” to put spirit into her work, which made her appear endearingly lively. At times her motions made me worry if everything was truly safe, but that was also the usual pattern.

The scene in which Muze scooped wax into her hands and spread it through my hair was one worth seeing. By that point, I could hardly tell if she was spreading it with her hands or with her whole body. At the end, she even used her feet.

“Oorya! Orya orya orya orya!” (Muze)

It was Muze’s particular insistence to raise the hair once, then sweep the ends into form. Those cries of spirit were what she gave while raising the hair. Honestly, I felt as if my hair might be torn out, and merely watching made me fearful.

“Uorya!! Ah!” (Muze)

Ah! She fell!

Of course, I caught Muze as she dropped, but no matter how many times I saw it, it made me anxious that she might be hurt.

“Yes! Yes! It is perfect!!” (Muze)

The video ended with Muze and me high-fiving.

“Now then, Mira, Haruka, will you explain this to me?” (Kouta)

“Well, you see…” (Haruka)

“Muze worked so hard to send this in, and because it was amusing, I decided to use it! This angle! This development! Tell me, what else could I possibly use if not this!?” (Mira)

Haruka looked apologetic, while Mira, astonishingly, turned defiant.

“I too was surprised! This is Muze’s perspective, the world as seen from Muze’s height!” (Mira)

So, it was not a matter of moral hesitation, but simply astonishment? Mira, where has your sense of ethics gone?

“When you stood up, that change in height! That was the charm!” (Mira)

Apparently, Mira was concerned not with ethics but solely with the work’s artistic value.

“At the very least, you should have asked my permission.” (Kouta)

“You would have refused, would you not?” (Mira)

“Of course I would.” (Kouta)

“Even so, because you are softhearted toward Muze, in the end you would accept it. Even I would never release something that Kouta truly detested.” (Mira)

On that much, I could trust her. I could only let out a sigh.

“At least make sure to pay Muze a performance fee.” (Kouta)

“Are you certain? Your room may well be drowned in water.” (Mira)

“Please, spare me that!!” (Kouta)
