The next day. The territory had another holiday today. It was a two-day weekend system.

Well then, Stella and the others were scheduled to arrive at Zanzas before noon. Somehow, I feel restless. Even though I believe everything will be fine, I can’t help but feel uneasy. I could just laze around at home, but… It seems better to do something to distract myself.

The carriage approached the city gate. There stood a particularly large statue. It was a proud-standing elf girl statue. Itt was, again, a statue of Stella. There was a plaque attached beneath the statue.

Naru and Anaria started whispering to each other.

“That statue has been there since Zanzas was established. It’s the oldest Stella statue in Zanzas.” (Anaria)

Stella quietly gazed at the cityscape of Zanzas from the small window of the carriage. Naru and Anaria felt reassured by her back. Stella had truly become like an adventurer.

“This is going well, isn’t it…” (Anaria)

After walking about 30 minutes from home, I arrived at the lake. The lake was surrounded by gently rising hills, and maple leaves floated on its surface. It was not raining, and the water volume was sufficient. While attaching a lure made with magic to the fishing rod, I tilted my head in puzzlement. Tetetoka spoke to me.

She wasn’t holding a fishing rod and seemed to have come along without us noticing.

“Tetetoka, aren’t you going to fish?” (Elt)

“Fishing? Hmm… I don’t really understand it. I’ve never done it.” (Tetetoka)

“If you want to try, I can make you a fishing rod here and give it to you…” (Elt)

“Thank you! I want to try!” (Tetetoka)

“All right, since it’s a special occasion.” (Elt)

I made a small stick with magic and handed it to Tetetoka.Brown brought some fishing line, so attaching it made a complete fishing rod. Tetetoka looked at the fishing rod with shining eyes.

“Yay, I’ll take good care of it! Ah, but there’s nothing at the tip of the rod…?” (Tetetoka)

“Ah, you need to put something that fish will bite on the tip… I wonder if a carved wooden fish would work.” (Elt)
