<Explanation of the Managram and Its Display Contents>

 Managram

The Managram is an adventurer-oriented ability measurement device developed by the Magic Technique Guild. It is also used for party registration and quest acceptance at the Adventurer Guild. Once equipped, it registers the wearer’s ability values. If another person equips it, the previous data is overwritten.

The Managram is distributed not only to adventurers but also to soldiers and magicians. Peeking at or flaunting another’s Managram is generally considered bad manners. However, this norm does not apply among rough adventurers who lack etiquette.

First, we will explain using the current status of Lost (Act 1, Jack) as an example.

  • Race

There are six humanoid races in the world: Human, Elf, Giant, Beastman, Dwarf, and Demon.
In status displays, they are labeled as Human, Fairy, Giant, Beastman, Smallfolk, and Demon, respectively. The race in parentheses indicates paternal lineage. (Human, Elf, Giant, Beastman, Smallfolk, Demon)

※ The protagonist is a pure-blooded human, but due to the power of the goddess Kea, his right arm has been magically modified. This has altered the Managram’s measurement results.

  • Age

No explanation provided.

  • Life

Represents vitality. Durability and stamina are also reflected in this value.
Giants and Demons tend to have high values.

For humans, the standard is 30 to 100 for ages 10 to 12. For humans between the ages of 15 and 18, the standard is 150 to 200.

For Demons, the value is around 1000–2000.

※ This is why Shia called the protagonist a “monster” in Chapter 43.

  • Mana

Represents the amount of magic usable, though the mana consumption for the same magic varies by user. Elves and Demons tend to have high values.

A mana value of 200 or higher is sufficient for a magician to fight effectively.
For example, intermediate fire magic (Fireball) consumes around 100 mana per cast. Advanced fire magic (Blaze Gust) consumes around 350 mana per cast.

※ In Chapter 20, Lindsay runs out of mana after casting Blaze Gust once (her mana value is around 350).

Some archmages have values exceeding 1000. For reference, Isaiah Aldridge’s mana is around 2000.

  • Strength

Represents physical power. Classified by rank. Ranks range from G to A, with S being the highest. Giants and Dwarves tend to have higher ranks.

  • Agility

Represents speed. Classified by rank. Ranks range from G to A, with S being the highest. Elves and Beastmen tend to have higher ranks.

 Explanation of Ability Sections

  • Intuition A

A skill commonly possessed by Elves, Beastmen, and some Demons. Rank A is the level at which one can accurately grasp the changes in the emotions of others. If you’re rank S, you can read minds.

  • Hand-to-Hand Combat B / Swordsmanship B

Explanations omitted.

  • Mana Release S

A skill related to the power of magic. Even without this skill, magic can still be cast, but having the skill adds value to the emitted magic.  Higher ranks allow for higher-power magic to be cast.

※ For the protagonist, this skill is related to the mana emitted from the mechanical device on his right wrist.

  • Mental Image Extraction S+

The ability to materialize or embody what the skill holder imagines. Primarily allows for the generation of weapons and armor. At Rank S+, the skill allows for precise imagining and materialization.

  • Mana Coating S+

The ability to imbue weapons and armor with magical effects. Commonly referred to as enchantment.

※ For the protagonist, weapons generated via Mental Image Extraction are automatically enchanted. The red and black lines on the blade are a manifestation of this skill.

  • Time Control A

A result of Isaiah Aldridge’s research during his student years. A time magic skill that alters the user’s perception of their unique timeline. It also shortens the time required for the user to move from point A to point B. Essentially a type of acceleration device.

  • Stealth E

The ability to suppress one’s presence. At Rank E, it allows for simple actions such as sneaking up on someone and succeeding in playful pranks.

  • Self-Repair C

The ability to automatically heal wounds. Rank C is the level at which large wounds heal quickly. Rank A is the level at which missing body parts are regenerated. Rank S, it is possible to regenerate if only part of the body is present.

The protagonist possesses the power of magic nullification granted by the goddess Kea. Although the mana value is displayed as 0, it is actually around √-2000. Being an imaginary number, it cannot be measured.

The protagonist’s right arm is referred to as a demon’s arm, but it was created by the goddess Kea, who designed magic and monsters. The red-black linear patterns on the arm are a manifestation of the magic nullification ability.

By using Mental Image Extraction to create a sword and enchanting it with Mana Enchantment, the sword is also imbued with magic nullification power.

================

  • Air Pressure Control B

The concept of air pressure is omitted. In Shia’s case, she controls air pressure to make her arrows invisible. By applying pressure to the arrows during release, she increases their power.

  • Magic

Magic skills are divided into six categories: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Holy, Dark, and Healing.
Some refer to Fire Magic as Flame Magic, and Holy Magic as Light Magic, names vary by individual. Ice Magic includes Water Magic.

The rank is automatically assigned based on the number of techniques learned, power, and control ability.

A skill possessed by Tristan, a member of the Liberta team. A measure of combat insight, allowing for predictions based on experience. Rank S allows for short-term vision into the future. Rank S+ is a level where one can simultaneously see multiple futures derived from combat experience.
