**Today’s Diary**
Today’s training focused on Shooters. It was my first opportunity to see the skills of Lev and Lite, the sibling duo.
So far, Lev seems to be facing some difficulties, while Lite stands out with his blunt manner but isn’t unfriendly. If it weren’t for their suspicious behavior, it would have been easy to get along with them.
I haven’t been particularly distancing myself, so our interactions have been fairly neutral. I do want to ask them about their behavior behind the school building at some point, but…
Even though they come from a friendly nation, consulting Rita-san about their suspicious behavior is tricky. If it turns into a misunderstanding, it could become a big deal.
What should I do?

“♪ Gozaru gozaru” (Hana)
Hold on, Hana. That song feels like something you shouldn’t sing. I don’t know why.
“Is that so? It’s my original song, ‘Gozaru Gozaru no Uta’.” (Hana)
I see.
While we were having this pointless conversation, we were sitting on the slope of the hill in the practical area. Currently, we were waiting for the deployment of Shooters, Heavy Troopers (Armor), and Knights (Ritter).
Today’s class was mainly focused on Shooters. The battle would take place in a wilderness area with minimal cover. The basic rule was the same as the opposing battle. If the team’s Knight (Ritter) was defeated, the team lose. However, today’s training was a joint exercise with 1-B class. It would be a showdown between 8 Shooters from 1-B and 8 Shooters from 1-C, with one Knight (Ritter) selected from each class.
Since there would be three rounds, the Knight (Ritter) from 1-C would draw lots to determine the order. Roy-kun was chosen for the first round. Additionally, to protect the Knight (Ritter) and Shooters, Heavy Troopers (Armor) would also participate. Although Raiders (Commander) were similar to Shooters, they would participate on a rotating basis due to the number of students in both classes. Hana was scheduled to participate in the second round. This time, she was observing with us.
The number of Heavy Troopers (Armor) was also set to four per side, with the same rotating participation. Rick-san would participate in the first and third rounds. All other types of students were observers. However, we were required to observe the movements of each unit from the hilltop and submit reports, so we couldn’t afford to be idle. Honestly, participating in the combat training might have been easier.
We were seated on the southern hill. In the wilderness area, 1-C’s base was positioned to the south.
“It looks like it’s about to start.” (Ratt)
Ratt-kun said, casually watching the wilderness.
Indeed, the movements of both sides were becoming more hurried. Roy-kun had two Heavy Troopers (Armor) at his side, with the other two positioned with Shooters. Behind them were three Shooters.
It seemed they were adopting a relatively standard style to challenge 1-B. Rick-san seemed to be in the role of protecting Roy-kun. Looking to the north, 1-B was approaching with a similar strategy.
As the Shooters began to run, the accompanying Heavy Troopers (Armor) also started to match their pace. Among the two Heavy Troopers (Armor) sprinting, one was clearly faster. From the color of the shield, it was Lite. Moreover, since Lite was loudly shouting “Ora ora ora ora!!” while running, it was definitely him. Heavy Troopers (Armor) were generally slow due to their equipment, so Lite’s speed was unusual. Behind him were Lev, Heinz, and another Shooter running in pursuit.
Lite, being the fastest to reach the center of the wilderness, opened his shield. The folded shield expanded threefold, creating a sudden stronghold in the middle of the wilderness. The three Shooters who came from behind immediately began to suppress the enemy team. With this support fire, Lite gradually advanced into the enemy’s territory. The attack force centered around Lite, who was the first to deploy, forced the opposing Heavy Troopers (Armor) to retreat without having the chance to deploy their own shields.
Lev, seizing this opportunity, charged forward in perfect sync with Lite’s movements. Heinz and the others followed suit a moment later, and the entire 1-B team was overwhelmed, leading to a quick resolution of the match. Watching from the hilltop, we couldn’t help but cheer and give a fist pump.
“Wow, that’s amazing, degozaru!” (Hana)
Hana exclaimed, bouncing up and down with excitement.
“Lite’s movement seems like the aggressive type of Heavy Trooper (Armor).” (Frank)
Frank observed calmly.
Heavy Troopers (Armor) had their strengths and weaknesses. Some were defense-oriented, focusing on a solid stance and high defense, while others were aggressive, pushing forward. Rick-san was the former, and Lite seemed to be the latter. Thanks to the efforts of Lite and Lev, 1-C achieved three victories and made a triumphant return to the classroom. The new additions, indeed, were the stars of the day.
“If you had come a bit earlier, I would have put you on my team.” (Saxon)
Saxon said.
“Indeed. With this, Team Catrap is becoming a formidable opponent for the next battle.” (Roy)
Roy-kun said with a slight smile.
“What’s this about the opposing battle?” (Lite)
Lite asked, and Roy-kun explained.
“I see, so Catrap won the last match. Not bad, you guys.” (Lite)
Lite said with a bright smile.
Hmm, he really doesn’t seem like a bad guy after all.

That night.
After finishing dinner and lying on my bed, I was just about to start writing my diary when someone knocked on my door.
“Oh? Heinz, what’s up?” (Lux)
The person who knocked was Heinz.
“Hey, I’ve got some valuable information.” (Heinz)
“Valuable information?” (Lux)
“Yeah, about the Seven Mysteries.” (Heinz)
“Oh, really? The Seven Mysteries? What’s the new one?” (Lux)
“Prepare to be surprised,” Heinz said.
I swallowed nervously, waiting for Heinz’s next words.
“It’s the Dancing Painting.” (Heinz)

TLN: The names of the two new students can be Rival Left and Rival Right. However, I have decided to choose the names of Lev and Lite to avoid confusion in the future. I’ll change it if necessary later.
