      I’m of the same opinion as you, Zillard is just too sketchy and with the surveillance plant or what ever it is, further makes me believe that he is the guilty party. Fort just seems like a loyal muscle brain to me.

      I think it is him, 1st of all he grew up with that a** for a childhood friend so I already think he’s just hiding his true colours, second for the dragon girl since I don’t remember her story there 2 conclusions I can draw for her, A she just had bad luck to encounter him and is currently none the wiser to his actions, or B she’s of the same ilk and is dissatisfied with the limitations imposed on her experiments by moral stuff, having Z take the throne would greatly expand her range of permissible activities.

    I don’t think is either Zilard or Fort, or if it is one of them, then they are being manipulated. I mean something similar to that parasitic mana stone is inhibiting the king’s ability to wake up, it wouldn’t be surprising if a “mature” one had taken over one of the two. More likely, Zilard’s plan is to trick the true enemy into a false sense of security with a fake assassination. I believe that the fact that Sirius mentioned the necessity of it being “bloody” is a hint to this (i.e. he needs to stage the death).

    Thanks for the chapter. The 1st anime I saw for a sword catch was in the Orphan S1 anime. Now a days the sword catch is more a comedy routine, that I have saw seen so far. The 1 live action movie that I watch that had to sword catch that I liked was the Highlander 3 movie.
